The Financial Health of the Importer El Palacio Del Accesorio Imporpalac CIA Ltda: Analysis of its Economic Situation and Profitability

The study focused on the company Importadora El Palacio del Accesorio Imporpalac Cía. Ltd., dedicated to the marketing of accessories, spare parts, and supplies for motor vehicles. The research arises from the need to understand the company's financial situation and to evaluate whether its commercial growth is also reflected in adequate profitability and economic stability. Therefore, the main objective was to analyze its financial performance based on the information presented in its financial statements. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach of a descriptive-analytical nature. To this end, horizontal analysis was applied to the financial statements for the years 2023 and 2024, allowing for the comparison of variations presented in the main accounts of the statement of financial position and the income statement. Additionally, liquidity, debt, and profitability financial indicators were calculated to assess the company's ability to meet its obligations, manage its resources, and generate profits. Among the main results, an increase in sales and total assets was demonstrated, reflecting growth in the company's operations. An increase in the level of indebtedness and a decrease in some profitability indicators were also identified, mainly due to the rise in the cost of sales. Additionally, changes were observed in inventory turnover and accounts receivable management.
